What is your goal in being in the US? What are your goals in studying at CSUF? What are your expectations for this writing class? What do you expect to accomplish by the end of this semester?
The reason why I'm in the US is to get the master's degree. I hope I could pass the TOEFL and GRE test, and then get the master's degree of biology at CSUF. I except some obvious improvements of writing skill will be gotten by me for this writing class. I want get an A by the end of this semester.
My goal is studying English and my major in the US, and my studying goals is passing this level at CSUF; because i want to apply cal state Fullerton, university after this semester. And then, I hope I can improve my writing skill in writing class, it is very important for university. Finally, I hope I can achieve my goals in the end of this semester.
I am in the US for studying MBA about Business Administration. My goal in studying in CSUF is to complete my course and improve my English. For this writing class, I expect to improve my writing skill. By the end of this semester, I will write better and I can take good score in IBT for this skill.
My goal in being in the US is graduate my master degree and then go back to my country. My goals in studying at CSUF is finish ALP and then I will test The TOEFL. I hope I can pass it, and I can study my major here. My expectation for this writing class is improving my writing to my major. It's important for my major because my friend told me, major have to writing a lot, so this class will help me a lot for my major.
The most important reason that I chose the US for studying was, have a different educational experiences in variety environment and studying Master of Accounting by the best professors in the one of the best business university in the US. Listening and writing are two important part of studying in the university classes, so I need to improve both to achieve my goals, like TOEFL test and GRE test. I also need writing during my master program too. I took this class before, but I had a problem with some concept like argument essay. I hope this class help me to improve my writing speed, brain storming and reduce my grammar errors. I have TOEFL and GRE exam about two months later and these are important to me to start my master course in university.
My goal in being in the US, in studying at CSUF is, pretty much like everyone else, to improve my English skills and to get to know about the cultures, what it needs to become an international university student in America. Here in this writing class I expect to hone my writing ability to the point that I don't have to type in Google Search Bar sentences each time I'm about to write anything in English anymore. By the end of this Semester I expect to archive at least 80 in TOEFL iBT test, which is my current New Year resolution, and to speak English more fluently. I hope that everyone including me could archive this by the end of this Semester.
I want to spend time to study English, also graduate at CSUF, and my major is nursing. I already completed second semester here, I want to take a PBT test next time when I pass this test I can transfer go to university. My expectations for this class are writing as much as we can, and fixing grammar. Grammar is always my problem.^^ So I hope in this class I can understand clearly, improve writing skills. I expect to get best grade at this semester.
I was an auditor in Taiwan.Because I became an incharge last year,I want to improve my English skill.My aunt suggested that I have to have a goal when I study in the US.Therefore,I decide to pass TOEFL test after finishing this semester.During my school life in Taiwan,I learned and memorized few vocabulary words and phrases so I couldn't write some great essays.I also didn't learn a lot about writing skill in school.I expect that I can write some essays full of contents by the end of this semester.
I hope I can get Master degree for computer engineering in CSUF. After I graduate, I want to get a job in US. My expectations of this class are meeting new friends and improving my writing skills.I expect I can write interesting attractive essays without grammar mistakes
My goal will grow up English writing, listening, and speaking. I hope my speaking will speak very fluent. My goal is study well above things, and bring this skill back my country to find a good job. I hope I can write a interesting essay and write correct grammar in every sentence in this class and I hope study well and got great grade in this semester.
My goal while being here in the USA is to pursue my Masters degree in business administration. Before starting up with my masters i would love to learn good communication skills, writing skills through ALP. With this writing class i can improve my writing abilities and take it to a different level. studying at CSUF is a great opportunity where i can work on my English vocabulary, grammar and writing skills and than go further for my master degree. At the end of this semester i expect to overcome all my difficulties and do well with my grades at ALP.
My goal in learning in the US is getting a US Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management and be professional trained in this major. I want to meet my expectation in studying at CSUF that I can enhance my English skills, strengthen both my personal growth and academic success. My objective for this writing class is practicing and developing skill for writing essay which is also my weakest English skills. By the end of this semester, I expect to gain more knowledge in structure and supportive ideas that will help me to writing essay more fluently.
My first and most important goal in being in the US is getting my bachelor degree in Speech Pathology.Even I can achieve my first goal and join a university I need to improve my English so that why I'm here in the CSUF. Actually, I have high expectations for the writing class which I think it will help me to be better in writing an excellent and exciting essay with a lower mistakes as possible as it could be. I hope at the end of this semester I'll be improved enough to be a university student next semester.

As applying to CSUF, I want to be trained in Business Administration major - Accountancy in 3 years. My expectation for the Composition is to improve my writing skill, e.g sentences, structure, idea etc. I hope after this class, I can write an essay or article which about 2000 - 3000 words in the short amount of time. Moreover, I expect this writing class would help me to improve my critical thinking skill, research skill as well as expressing ideas. By the end of this semester, after finish my ALP program, I expect my English level to be improved along with my knowledge about America culture.

I have joined an American Language Program in CSUF to improve my English skills and achieve high scores in both TOEFL and GRE tests that are required in order to be accepted in my PhD program. I do need the advanced composition course to be aware of correct writing skills so I can improve mine. My goal for this writing course is to be able to write high level of essays with convenient argument, interesting new ideas related to the essay topic, and with zero-mistake in grammar and spelling.
